what are the common neck and heel dimensions of a standard dreadnought. I have a set of the martin d-28 plans but they are vague at best in the final complete thickness at the heel and butt.

Thanks all..

Lance

Martin site doesn't give heel and neck depth, only depth. They list a D as 4 7/8".

Martin Guitar Specs

Not on their web site. I have a set of plans that came with a kit I did about 4 years ago. That is where I got the Dim'sMichaelP38405.7314930556
