I clamp the fretboard to a sheet of 1/4" plexiglas,
about 1/32" from the edge, so the binding will slightly
overhang the edge. I spread the glue on the binding,
and rope it on with 3/16" bungee cord (which doesn't
get in the way of the slots). If there's supposed to be
purfling, I glue that on at the same time. Everything is
pretty well exposed, so I can go along and push the
binding and purfling down solid against the plastic
and the fretboard, and then blow the glue out of the
slots. Let dry 20 minutes or so, unclamp and flip
around and do the other side.

I will be at Healdsburg this year, and my Irish
ancestry would prohibit my refusal of any drink offers,
although I'm sure I've learned as much from all of
you as I've given back. I'm also happy to give shop
tours, but believe me, the Temple of Doolin is a very
humble, and very messy, basement shop.

Mike, sorry I missed you while I was in Portland.

The guy who went with me to CFox's class wound up in charge of the rental car due to the rental agent thinking my license was expired (he was wrong).

He didn't want to do anything after class each night so I was relagated to my room. I had to cancel with you and John Greven. What a disappointment that was

Next time I'm getting my own car....

You can blow the glue out of the slots with an air hose before it
hardens, just pay
attention to where it's blown to...Roy Noble38403.9643981481
