I confess I set this TV up in my shop yesterday directly across from my main work bench. It just didn`t seem like Thanksgiving without football. This may be a Luthier Sin.

What's the sin? The TV in the shop, or the ball game? if it's the TV, then label me a sinner, as I have one, too. If it's the ball game, label me ignorant, as I've never watched one....

The Tv in the shop Grumpy.Just a bit of humor. That was one heck of a game Bruce.I didn`t get my binding channels cut because the game kept distracting me.That`s kind of what I`m worried about. We`ll see how it goes, but the TV may have to go.

Arkansas knocks off No.1 LSU Tigers, amazing.

Nutt may still have a job next season. A bunch of folks will have to shut up and stew.....

McFadden may get his chance at that Heismann after all, good for him.

When I visted John D'Angelico's shop in 1963, he had a TV and a jug of Dago Red on the bench...

My TV isn't connected to anything but a VCR and DVD recorder/player at this time. Mostly listening to(and transfering to DVD) some old VHS tapes of music stuff, tapes my buddy's and I would record at festivals, or whenever good music showed up on teevee(he had one of those big ass satellite dishes in the 80's)... I have 100's of these tapes....

I also have a killer stereo system in the shop. Spend more time there than in the house; may as well by comfy....

Maybe that the secret to his great guitars. Dago red. My Italian grandmother swore by the stuff. I especially like when she would sneak me some as a young man.
