Hi All -

Has anyone else tried to get to Frank Ford's Frets.Com site today? I just tried and got a very commercial site, popups and all!!! What's up with this, anyone know?  I'd sure hate to see this resource go away.

Tom

Hello Tom. I tried it and couldn't get to it either. Then I did a google search
and was able to get in the back door so to speak. I agree that I would hate
to lose this valuable resource.

Same here. Looks like the DNS lookup isn't working or his host machine is down.

WWW.FRETS.COM is wonderful.

Frank Ford is an ICON.

"I'd sure hate to see this resource go away."

If you buy his web files on CD to support his site - you're covered.

A good resource to stash in your bookmarks for times like this is Internet Archive Wayback Machine

It has a bunch of copies of the frets.com site- not right up-to-date, but recent.

I guess we should all buy Frank's CD so he can pay the bills. Looks like the domain registration has lapsed?? Hopefully, it will all get resolved quickly.

Again- Hello All!

I have been a steady supporter of Frets.Com since I stumbled on to site three years ago - I'm on his list. I'm just hoping this is a temporary glitch....

Like John, I'd also encourage everyone to purchase the Fret.com CD that Frank has made available. It is basically the whole site and contains so much good information that I've never seen elsewhere. And come on, Frank deserves some monetary support for all of his efforts on our behalf. If you can't get it from his site, it is available from Gryphon.

At the top right corner it says this site is under construction. So maybe it's down for maintenance. Hopefuly that's it.

Hi all-

I just Frets.com - all seems back to normal today.

As Don and John point out, I guess we shouldn't take good things like this for granted!

Now I can sleep again!
