Since you're both wood addicts you should have stopped by my shop this
morning. I spent a good part of the morning cutting up a Brazilian slab for
about 15-20 fingerboards and bridges. The shop smells great today.

Cool,

It's amazing to me that in most of the pictures you've shown of other OLFer's at the Heshtone plant that almost all of them are playing that L-OO which I've named the black pearl

So much controversy over the black top, but everyone wants to touch it.

Oh and did I mention that I really really really want that guitar. Really

Hesh,

I ejoyed the visit to your place today more than I can say. And I was truly dazzled by your collection of Heshtone guitars. Your craftsmanship sets the bar very high indeed for the rest of us. The downside is that my WAS was so aggravated I had to rush home and buy a set of Black Acacia at the swap meet!

I hope to get you to visit my hopelessly messy shop some time soon.

Best Regards,
Max

Max - If you let Hesh visit your shop he may get his jollies there by cleaning it for you....

I have met one of the OLFers here in Houston a few months back.  It turns out that we both work for NASA contractors and went to the same high school in Tulsa, Ok in the early 70's.  And there is another OLFer who lives about 10 miles form me who posts quite often and we plan to get together as well.  Its just hard with different schedules and responsibilities.

I am really enjoying the forum and look forward to meeting some in person in the future.
