These prices do not include shipping. Shipping for all items is actual cost of shipping by US Postal Service. Payment using paypal please.

First off is 10 sets of western red cedar tops. All of them are 9 3/4" wide and at least 24" tall. 2 of the sets are 26" tall. One set has some knots, but would work for a couple of ukes or if you are creative you could place the knots in the sound hole area of a guitar. The growth ring count on all of these is almost too many to count. extremely tight growth rings!

All are rough sawn to a thickness of ~.160........Price listed for each set below

SOLDSet #1= $15......color is only fault

SOLD Set #2= $40... this set is a beauty!

Set #3= $15....color is only fault

Set #7 = $35 this set is a beauty

Set #8=$35 Another beautiful set

SOLD Set #10=$10....slight blemish/dark line on one side but should sand out.

I also have a bundle of 9 orphan sides of WRC. Some are perfect, some have blemishes or color. Get the whole bundle for $20.

Next is one set of lightly curly maple. The sides measure 36" x 5 3/4" and were sanded to a thickness of .07, the backs are 24" x 8 1/2" and are sanded to a thickness of .095. The brown staining on the side pieces is sander burn and should easily sand out. I am currently building a cutaway OM from wood cut from these same pieces of maple. .......$50

Next, I have fingerboard blanks. all of them measure 3"x22" except for #10 and #11, which measure 19 3/4" x 2 1/2". All are east indian rosewood.....$7.00 each or all 12 of them for $60

I have 25 wooden cigar boxes with brass hinges and clasps. These things come in handy for organizing your workshop with the smaller stuff and router bits, drills, nuts and saddles, etc. Easy to store and label. They measure 8"x 8 1/4" x3".......$5 each or 10 for $45

5 sold - 20 left

Next up is a set of Osage Orange back and sides. The back pieces measure 7 1/4 x 20 1/8" and the sides measure 5x36". all are rough sawn. thickness of back is .265" and sides are .20" I can thickness these to your desired thickness. Asking $100

next is a set of American Sycamore. Sides measure 6"x36" and the back pieces measure 7 3/4" x 24". These are rough sawn (unsanded) sides are .170" and back is .180" thick. I can thickness sand these to your desired thickness.  Quarter sawn. Asking $75

10 sets of AA grade Englemann Spruce. They measure 7 3/4" x 22" and are rough sawn to .210 thickness. They are all well quartered and have slight color. little, if any runout.   $20/set

4 sold - 6 left

not pictured, but I have 4 snakewood bridge blanks (not highly figured) for $15/ea and 4 strips of leopardwood binding for $10.

I am also going to have some boxelder B&S sets available in the near future. this stuff is extremely rare, especially at these widths and perfectly quarter sawn! . These backs are 9" wide and the sides are 5" wide. Thickness will be around .150". Each set will sell for $175/each.  I will have a total of 4 sets available. These are perfectly quarter sawn and right now are green. As soon as they are reasonably dry, I will resaw and ship them. (shouldnt be too long)

Here is a couple of pictures of the boards they will come from

Thanks for looking at my stuff. Shipping is actual cost and paypal for payment please.

Thats a great buy. I have been selling them on ebay for $10/ea. They are heavy duty and come in real handy around the shop.

Ken, please keep me posted regarding the Box Elder. I don't know much about it, (other than it's a favorite of turners). It sure is pretty!

I'm interested int he bearclaw sitka tops and quilted cherry... what kind of a trade do you have in mind?

I'm not sure about the box elder either. I know it is a dense wood and is usually turned for plates and bowls and holds a finish well. One of my friends who also owns a sawmill has it and I have talked him into quarter sawing a large log for me. This stuff isnt cheap and as far as I know nobody else has any of it quaqrter sawn like this. It is a really pretty wood and the color variances between the creamy white and the vivid reds is supposed to be color fast and not fade to a brown. He usually sells it by the inch, selling it a "cookies" off of the end of the log for $20/inch.  At this point I have only committed to buying one 9" wide board and one 5" wide board and it is in transit to me as I write this. There is more available from this log, but he has told me under no circumstances will he ever quarter saw any of this stuff again.
