Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, the figure really came alive in this guitar once the naptha hit it.

Most of the appointments on this guitar are BRW, but the fingerboard is Madrose. The rosette is burled maple with red abalone.

Brock, what is the purfling? Is it snakewood? The red abalone in the rosette looks so good with the burl.

The purflings are the mahog-o-lams that BobC sells. I would have made up a matching koa purf, but I didn't have a nicely flamed koa side.
