I haven't been doing anything much with anything. Garden work, little trips, some oil painting. I did glue the bridge back on the little 8 string, Uke/baroque guitar, and it is holding. Heat gun, HHG on both parts. put in place, and slide back and forth a little, and let it be.I haven't finished getting the frets all tied on. I did put the strings right at the top of the bridge now, and they work good there. I wasn't getting enough clearance on the higher (closer to the nut, you start stinging them at the bottom) and the note at the lower fret would ring. Tuning short pairs of strings with pegs with a very short scale is difficult. The small scale (17 7/16) and wide? (1 1/8 with 3/32 between pairs) string spacing feels weird. especially up the fingerboard.

I see it is still a step low, and Ab and not A.

I picked up a little plane from Woodcraft on sale the other day. A nice one from Woodriver, like a Stanley #1; and I have the neck on the little Torres almost ready to glue on the belly, and get that thing going again.

But I can see PICTURES and post now! The capcha thing worked this time. I haven't been able to do that since around our anniversary March 5. Everything was going crazy then. Today my wife said, show me how you can't get on your guitar forum. So I showed her how the capcha didn't work; and it worked.

She said, Happy Birthday. How'd she do that?
