Here is a guitar I just finished using that barn find Brazilian for the back and sides, fretboard, head, veneers, and bridge. really nice stuff! The top is Western red Cedar. The neck is Spanish cedar. Curly koa bindings. Rubner "rubber roll" tuners. If you're not familiar with these, they actually have a ball bearing on the end making them Super smooth. French polish finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That’s really nice! Same tuners I used on the nylon crossover I built for our Christmas program. They are super nice tuners. Steve |

Great look as ever Brad. I wonder what you did differently to make it a Jazz guitar? The best known player on nylon strings I guess was Charlie Byrd. He can be seen playing what looks like standard classical but sometimes with a cutaway. Cheers Dave |

Cheers Dave Dave, It has a 1-7/8"" nut width so closer to a steel string, soundport and cutaway-these are thee differences from a standard classical. It also has a K and K pickup installed. |

Curious about the neck joint - Spanish heel? Dovetail? Bolt-on? There's something very appealing about that shape. The woods are beautiful and workmanship is inspiring. |
