I need a source for multi-ply plastic purfling in depths of around .040" to .060". BW,BWB,WBW, etc. I can find laminated wood purfling, and I can find multi-ply plastic binding that is around .200" deep. I don't have a clean way of cutting the wider binding down to use as purfling. I used to find some from the 1833 shop, but no longer available.

Anyone have a source? I thought I remembered this coming up before, but I searched and could not find the thread.

I ordered 1 each of the D-28 rosettes, just to see how they differ. This way I can decide which one I like, for future purchases.
I am working on a solution to cleanly cut the wide .250" bw, bwb binding, down to purfling height, for use inside the binding around the body. A jig with a boxer cutter blade is one thing I plan to try. I have cut quite a bit on a little jig I made for my band saw, but the cut edge takes a little more clean up than I like.

Thanks
