Hello folks
I've been working on getting my old tablesaw up to scratch for the past while,
and currently making an overhead/arm crown guard at the moment.
Well..not quite there yet, but finishing the first bit as of yet.

Which should explain things better than I can describe, as space is tight in here.
I'm planning on making something like the SUVA guard, but not totally set on it yet,
and am plonking ahead until then.
Since there'll be a big boom somehow positioned like on Joe's Martin saw, on post 44

Seems like no point in not doing something with an extended bit of 100mm wide box iron, (of which the height of the horizontal beam hasn't been determined yet)...
I've got some more nice rather hefty steel plate, was thinking I could add various routers to some sort of carriage
and seen some clever systems out there, so was happy to plough on and see what I ended up with,
when it only dawned on me, I should be thinking about incorporating it to include binding channels,
since I might be likely to use it for that use, rather than something in which a router table might do the trick for.

My ponderings are, if a heavy carriage might be a hindrance whilst using a laminate trimmer for the bindings,
as I might need incorporate differing carriages if so, say from aluminium.

Thanks for reading, must try and see some folk like Burton's stuff, should it still be in the archives.
Guess I might find some good ideas there, and curious to see who else might have some interesting binding channel setups.
Been a bit too carried away with the workshop stuff, (after getting the bug from this place, I might add) :)
to be focusing my attention here, so likely have missed a lot since.
Would love to see some suggestions or whatnot.

Thanks
Tom
