I currently use eight shapes, and I have patterns and molds for three or four more for students. I've retired several shapes over the years as well. Several of these have been used for more than one sort of guitar: I've made steel string, Classical and arch top guitars on the 12-fret 000 platform, for example. |

I've done Dread, 0, J45, Size 5, and OM/000 plus electric, mandolin, dulcimer and even a psaltry (for my wife). The only one I'm doing now is OM/OOO. Oh yeah, and a Rameriz classical. |

Also made 12 strings with several of the shapes. I have retired two or three of my earlier shapes, but I didn’t count those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I counted 18 outside molds. Two or three are ukuleles, one is a bouzouki; the others are guitars including two of my Rappahannock model which approximates an OM. Some of those, I have only made one or two of. |

I build only classical and flamenco guitars, but even so, I'm currently at 11. Some of these platforms (especially Friederich) I have used to build different versions in terms of bracing etc. Torres FE19 Torres FE69 Enrique Garcia Fleta Friederich Hauser Barbero Dammann Bouchet Vicente Arias Manuel Reyes That's about it, I guess. |

The last time I counted, 17 acoustic guitar/acoustic bass, 3 uke, 1 octave mando, and what appeared to be 6 different electric guitar shapes. I doubt there was more than 2-3 made of many of those body shapes, but 27 total different shapes seems about right if you count 12 and 14 fret Martin 0-000 as same name/different shape. I hope that helps. |

All the way up to one, a 93%-of-original-size Herringbone Dreadnaught in mold and outline. I've made 12-fret 6 and -12-strings, 13-fret and 14-fret 6-strings of varying scale lengths and string spacing and thicknesses. |
