Needed to sharpen small, short blades from finger planes like the one shown, with the Veritas MkIII jig. The Narrow-Blade Head clamps blades from the side. |

I use a ton of razor blades, but I'm not sure I want to sharpen them... But, it looks good for finger plane blades. |

I don't sharpen them, I just wear them out to nubs.... though I have been know to strop one on more than one occasion The narrow blade attachment does make it simple to sharpen wee blades! |

I frequently touch up X acto blades on my ultra fine diamond plate. (no jig). I guess my Scottish is showing... pinching pennies where I can... I have a much cheaper version of that jig and they come in handy. Cheers, Bob |
