A friend who has a guitar with a printed design on the pickguard is looking for a way to protect the design (he's noted parts of it missing). Is there a film or something for this? |

If only they made like a self adhesive, clear pickguard. Oh well. |

I recently applied paint protection film to my headlights after I used a headlight restore kit to remove oxidation from the lens. The film is supposed to prevent further oxidation. It is a clear film designed to protect painted surfaces on cars. You can buy several different brands on Amazon. It is the same stuff used for car wrap only clear. It would be perfect to protect a pickguard or use it for a clear pickguard. You float it on with soapy water an squeegy all the moisture and bubbles out. |
