One must have one's priorities straight when building guitars. That's why, instead of carving a neck or installing kerfed lining, I spent the morning taking the dinky pedestal sink out of our basement workshop bathroom and replacing it with this Mac Daddy utility sink:

It has a drying rack you can move around or remove entirely, an integrated soap shelf, a few more flat spots for collecting sink clutter, and all the room down in the basin you could ever want. I installed a decent quality Delta kitchen faucet with a single lever, swivel head, and built-in sprayer. Ohhhh, baby! My wife (who's painting/sewing/crafting workshop is right down the hall from my guitar-making workshop) has wanted this for a long time. I can't believe I procrastinated on installing this; it yielded significant points with my better half.

I'm all flush with excitement! :D

Running water in the shop would be quite the treat!

Oh, heck yeah.

I have one of those outside for washing vegetables... It's the stuff.

I have one too, But mine is not nearly so shiny and clean! My old shop had no nearby plumbing, but the new one does and it's great! Also a floor drain, just in case. And a beverage fridge for when the day is done.

So nice to have a sink deep enough to fill the humidifier reservoirs!

Having a shop sink is a way underrated luxury. I put one in mine with an inline water heater. Use it way more than I would have ever expected. Graywater drain. Simple.
