I fretted (pun) over the title. Then I just said what the heck It will work. Curious how many innovations from the open maker community have made it into the big makers production lines.

One stands out to me: Arm rest bevels. Others?

At one time Martin had a guitar, the OMCRE, with an adjustable neck based on Jeff Babicz's design, but I don't know if it's still in production. It had a sliding joint at the neck which allowed the neck to be moved up and down, in a path perpendicular to the fretboard such that it wouldn't affect tuning since the change in string length was negligible.
