Sam is a fantastic person AND luthier and I would highly recommend him as a mentor. If you get a chance check out the custom tuners he's hand making these days. He also has the job at Galloup that my mentor and business partner used to have and of course I apprenticed with Dave Collins for three years. If you have a hankering to take it out of the basement shop and into the light of the commercial world where people actually throw money at you to help their guitars and if you're not a jerk please contact Sam. Great adventures in having your preconceived notions all wiped out await.... |

That’s a huge opportunity, hard to think of a guy you’d want to study with more than Sam Guidry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've never seen this opportunity to apprentice come up before and be public so this is a rare event with some of the best as well. Sam is highly skilled in all aspects of Lutherie from repair to building and some of his guitars are as nice as they come. |
