Finally I've DONE my Tinozza with some modifications.
Spec:
Model: Tinozza Acoustic Bass Fretless (design By RM Motolla)
Dimension: Lower bout 16.5" (smaller than the original 18") I build this for my niece
And with Arm Bevel for comfortable handling
Body depth 5.5" ( rather than 6")
Body Length 47.2"
Body weight 3.2Kg with Leather Strap and straplock system
Soundboard: Sitka Spruce Orphaned from Alaska Specialty Wood
Back and Side set: Indonesian Mahogany Quarter Sawn solis wood
Neck: Mahogany- Sitka Spruce- Mahogany laminated with 24" Trussrod
Headstock: with Rosewood veneer
Fretboard: Macassar Ebony
Bridge: Macassar Ebony
Nut and Sadle: Maple wood
String: 1'4 size Orchestral String Weed Wacker
Extension Body Rod: Rosewood (I don't know what the name)
Fishman PreAmp (China product)

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
