I have seen Bruce Wei in Vietnam, but am not crazy about the styles he has.
I still have had no luck with Depaule. They tell me stuff is coming and it just doesn't.....

I took a bit of a risk and ordered on eBay from jnnpearlinlay some precut style 45 fretbaord inlay and torches and was quite pleased with the quality. https://www.ebay.com/usr/jnnpearlinlay

For purfling, rosettes, dots, and other fret board inlay I like Australian Mother of Pearl Co. http://orders.mopsupplies.com/

I only buy pearl from jnnpearlinlay, they have quality pearl far better than other eBay sellers.

Importing shell is a mystery and a bit of luck. 10 or more years ago Fish and Wildlife stopped a pearl shipment to me from Australian MOP. They did not give me many options. either buy an animal product import permit for $100/year, which I do now, or they would confiscate the shipment and I'd be fined if they caught another unpermitted shipment. Besides the yearly license, there is also a manditory $93.00 import fee on any shipment no matter how big or small. Itis still worth it for me to buy from MOP Supplies and they are the only one I buy from. I am the only builder that I have ever heard of this happening to. Lucky me. Just a thought!-Bob

That's sad to hear about Depaule. I've used them many times for both pre-cut and my own custom design and even though the custom one took a couple months, they stated so when I got my quote and everything came when promised.

Good to know. I was quite pleased with the stuyI got. I have been using DePaul for years too. I'm sure I still will.
