Does anyone here have experience with these Japanese guitars. I have a real nice sounding one I may purchase but it needs a neck reset. I wonder if they are dovetailed and what kind of glue they may have used.

Morris? Japanese? I thought these were made in Vermont?

I bought one when building log homes in Japan in '89. It was a great guitar. Sold it to one of the other carpenters when I left. Sorry, don't know how the neck is attached though.

Slight aside....There is (or was) a luthery school in Vermont with the same name. My favorite classical guitar has a Morris from Vermont label inside. It developed a crack, and I emailed asking about the finish before I cleated it. Got a nice answer back that it's lacquer. Roy
