Hello, Does anyone know a supplier for the 60 grit cloth backed sandpaper used for radius dishes? I don't need the round one available from the usual suppliers, I need a roll or sheets that are 12" x 16". Brad |

I don't use a radius dish but I do use a flat MDF board for sanding and what I found works the best for the price is wide sanding belts that I just cut to fit. Something like this: https://www.keystoneabrasives.com/categ ... 31B035CBF6 It's not adhesive back but is easy enough to glue down. |

You could look at sanding belts for wide belt sanders as a source or call someone like - Klingspor, Woodworkers supply. I'll have to try out the Home Depot option. I see that's a ceramic grain type. For ceramic products I also really like Red Label (https://www.redlabelabrasives.com/collections/ultra-premium-ceramic-sanding-belts). They custom-manufacture abrasives, so they can make them in any size. It might be less convenient than just picking up from the hardware store, but I've found that their ceramic belts last about 2x longer than other ceramic belts I've tried. I've been using these guys as my go-to for abrasives for a few years now. I'll have to test Home Depot's to see how they compare. |
