Hiya, Just getting round to installing some Gotoh Baby 510s, but the gold plating seems too thick. If you try to twist the nuts in, it just sounds like they are going to cross-thread. Not come across this before on a decent make of tuners, anyone know of any good remedies? |

I assume you mean Mini's? Also - use the model number. 510 is the series. |

I've sold Grover tuners for over 30 years and I've seen that issue a number of times. If it is just 1 bushing, sometimes you can bevel the end on a sander and that will fix the issue. If it is the actual housing thread, your supplier should replace it no problem.-Bob |

If you can thread it in at all, you can put some rubbing compound on the threads and turn it back and forth several times to lap the threads. This should loosen it up a little. Then clean the threads of all compound and apply a bit of machine oil. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk |
