Scored a board of 16/4 clear flatsawn straight grain Honduran Mahogany at Windsor Plywood of all places... Don’t need to order necks for a while, lol...         A dozen scarf/stack blanks and two perfect blocks for one piece necks. With an inch leftover and a second beautiful 8/4 plank to make some laminated necks... Wow! I’m happy for you Ed, we don’t have a WP in Kelowna anymore, so it’s been a few years since I’ve been in one. Right now Hondo is my most precious wood in my small stash. Congrats!! |

Pretty nice chunk of wood! Were you also milling and laminating some other pieces in the pictures? A friend of mine gave me about 150 bd. ft. of cherry this week, so I guess I got lucky too! |

Alas, I’m afraid not. There is one more slightly under 8/4 flatsawn board that I might scoop up to laminate into my ‘deluxe’ line necks a I add wings to the headstock so only need 2 1/4” blank width. We’ll see if it’s around after a few paydays... |
