Any recommendations for a guitar case for builds?

I bought cases from Taobao, and they are adequate for cheap Washburns, but I don't trust my build with them. They are not airtight and certainly not watertight, so it means there's no way to make sure it will not get too humid (Taiwan is extremely humid). So I was hoping for Ameritage case but I have contacted them and they have not replied. So I'm wondering if they are even in business anymore. I noticed they are not OLF sponsors anymore.

So can you guys recommend a good case other than Calton (the customer thinks that is too expensive)?

Budget is around 300-500 dollars.

I have found Hiscox cases to be high on the cost/value scale.

Same here, Hiscox cases are good value.

Visenut Cases fall into your price range I believe. Nice case. A little more attractive ( and more expensive) than the Hiscox, which is what I usually use, and has an adjustable interior system. Brune has a builder price for them, unless something has changed.

What am I thinking? Narongsak Visenut is in Taiwan.

Have you personally tried it? It looks like it's made in China and I see a lot of carbon fiber flight cases from Taobao made by similar manufacturers. Can they survive the abuse Calton can?

I heard of BAM cases, and also looks like a few Taiwanese makers too. I can't find the prices for Hiscox cases, the site wouldn't provide the prices.

I just got an email back from Ameritage and they offered luthier pricing which is very good. I don't know how good Ameritage is but from what I heard it's good.

Bam and Calton both well out of your price range.
