Obviously a rare requirement unless ur name is Mike Doolin or u are building a harp guitar. Never been a huge fan of Pickup The World concept. Question is this. Can a standard preamp (like my favorite, Fishman Matrix infinity) accept two UST pickups? I would prefer a system that would let me control volume and tone of both pickups separately with only a single 1/4 inch jack. I am not opposed to stereo jacks. Application is Harp Guitar. Thanks, Mike |

Is this a topic no one knows nothing about? |

Mike-- If I were you, I would focus on preamps that are designed for dual sources, since you want independent control. Just google dual source acoustic guitar preamp and you will see some options. |

Mike, you will need a dual input amp since you want separate volume and tone for each UST. The dual inputs will need to be mixed into a final output signal to go to your 1/4" jack. Years ago I built a circuit to do just that for an electric guitar I built that had both magnetic and piezo pickups but I don't know of any commercially made units. K&K makes a two channel amp that might do what you want but it is offboard amp with two 1/4" inputs. https://kksound.com/products/dualchannelpreamp.php |

I see plenty of dual source pre-amps. Problem is, they are for UST and microphone. Really looking for two UST, one active preamp with single jack. Use to own a double neck Ovation (POS, but pretty), It had two pickups and separate/b;ending controls and switches. So I know they exist. I'll keep looking. Pickup the world claims to have a solution but their website sucks. |

Mike, the unit I linked is designed for two pickups. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk |

Maybe passive inside the guitar, with power and controls outside the guitar, is a path that gives you more options. You can use a stereo jack, and a splitter at some point, to send the signals to the two outboard preamps |
