Hi All

I am making my 50th guitar. This is about as far as I ever thought I would go. My customer wants white plastic bindings on the fret board. I have not done this before and I usually use a tru-oil on the neck. So my questions:
Can I use the tru-oil on the sides of the fret board plastic binding or a different oil?
Do I need to oil the top of the binding or just use the same treatment I use on the ebony fret board?
Do you have a different method to do this? - wood binding is not an option for the customer.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give - Mike G
