More than three years later and a second chance to meet up with Colin. This time in Arbroath at a nice restaurant at the boatyard.

Great to see you, Colin!

Below is a pic of Colin with a truly lovely guitar he brought to the restaurant. I was glad to see it, hear it, and play it.

Colin told me a story about an older finger-style player who had an opportunity to play this guitar. He played a nice intricate piece. After finishing he commented to Colin that he’d not been able to pull the melody out like that on his own guitars. The ease with which the instrument played enabled him to be at his best. That’s a high compliment and what most of us are seeking with guitar building. Kudos to you, Colin.

I used Tapatalk.

It’s interesting, I hadn’t noticed until now that Tapatalk no longer asks how large you want the image to be since the latest update. I’ll poke around to see if there is a setting preference. :)
