Just finished a fun show with some guitars old and new. These are the new ones. Top one is a Grand Symphony in plain Black Walnut/Lutz with flame Maple binding, EIR FB, EIR headplate and backplate. Plumb rosette. And below is an OM in Macassar Ebony/Redwood with Bubinga binding, Ebony FB and headplate and Wenge backplate. Spalted Beech rosette. Both necks are Wenge/Spanish cedar, tuners are Gotoh. Finish Enduro Var. They're both of to the Ullapool Guitar Festival in a couple of weeks to meet Clive Carroll, and quite probably several other guitarists. Better put some new strings on them! Been promised some soundclips. |
