Post subject:  No such thing as scrap...

Recently at VIGF, the Lee Vally rep gave me a piece of torrefied maple, with the suggestion to use it for bridges.

Well, I managed to nab a few for future use, maybe.

Naturally, not every woodworker understands the specific requirements of us fancy pants loofahs, so a pair of potential bridges was about as much as one could ask if this sweet brick.

Yet, there is use still. Except right now it’s too small. Needs to be doubled...

Add a bit of trout from Tunkwa Lake (my dads first fish after donkeys years of unsuccessful efforts, an adventure story for a different forum)...Image
A dash of salt, butter, fish seasoning, lemon, and parsley...add good wine and better company, and voila!ImageImage

Me too!

There's got to be some angle on high temperature natural Tunkwa Lake fish oil treatment of torrified wood to run with....
