Wise advice, especially to those of us that are prone to analysis paralysis. Doesn't matter how good you are, everything we do will have some imperfections, it's just a matter of degree.

Some newbie on another forum asked" do you guys ever make a guitar without making a mistake ?"...

I had to laugh!

I thought -My guitars are just a compilation of mistakes...and yet at the same time, they are perfect...

My fortune cookie said; "Don't worry about a thing, nothing's going to be alright".

I like that! Seems fitting somehow, at least for me.

There was a fortune in the drawer holding boxes of carbide inserts by the machine I run at work. Just laying there way in the back. It said I would make a decision that was long overdue. I was thinking about retirement. Finally, a few months later, they pushed me by wanting us to work 12 hour shifts. I'm done the end of June.

I make mistakes too. My wife buys the pink eraser tips for pencils because I wear them all out. I have a couple big pink ones too. Ever do jigsaw Sudoku's?

Hmmm... I thought the saying was,

“It’s only a mistake if you can’t SELL it”.

A friend's Grandmother used to tell him "don't worry about tomorrow, you can't imagine how bad it's going to be".

The beauty of doing something imperfectly today, is it gives you something to redo tomorrow.

We don't have fortune cookies in Taiwan, in fact nobody here heard of it

No. They were invented in California.

It’s like when I took a Mexican friend for a burrito. He kept asking me, “what are these called? These a great! I bet I could sell these in Mexico. What did you say these were called?”
