Exceptional work, Mr. Goodman. How does she sound?

She sound great-plenty of bass for a small guitar-brilliant trebles-still opening up....

That is as elegant as it is well executed!

Another beauty Brad. I have been thinking about adding an O to my line up. Love to hear a sound clip of one yours.

Thanks, Joe.

I love the 0's-they are so comfortable to play.

I will post a sound clip at some point...

Brad

Was this a commission? Do you find that O's sell very well? A luthier friend told me he has had very bad luck selling them. Really classy guitar.

Thanks, I was going for pure simplicity on this one.

No, This was a spec. guitar.

Personally, I have had no more trouble selling the parlors as other models.

I am planning on trying a new shop (high end) to sell this one in and the owner says he finds that the parlors are selling right now. We shall see...

In general I have had bad luck selling in shops. Most of the latest ones I have sold on Reverb which is weird because other than a sound clip the buyers don't get to hold them in their hands. They have a week trial period to return them, but I have never had anyone send one back.

Very nice indeed. That mahogany is about as good as it gets.

I've never had luck selling in shops either, customers certainly don't treat them well when they try them out too.

Great looking guitar Brad,
It reminds me of a Martin O-16ny, but all dressed up in pearl. The O size reappeared in the 60's, but petered out again after awhile IIRC. I always thought they were pretty nice, but maybe a niche market. I never saw them cloned by the Asian makers at that time.

Nice guitar Brad. I bought an 0-16NY in 1968 (still have it) and it was perfect for what I was into at the time which was fingerstyle and folk music. I built a copy a few years ago. Sweet little guitars.

Thanks.

Yes, they definitely get "shop worn"-not fun...
