Post subject:  Buffer wobble

So I got my new stewmac buffer up and mounted but as it gets to speed it begins to wobble. Is this due to me not setting it up w the belt correctly or is it just the base is too light ?

These are not precision balanced machines. Use a scraper to round out the wheels. Or, more clamps. :)

You can also make a mark on the pad so you have a starting point and rotate the pads on the shaft and by trial and error you can usuallly get it pretty well balanced.

Well it w really was a mechanical thing
Underneath the cowl was a set screw that was almost out.
Once tightened it performed MUCH better

Now to finish my newest creation hit with em6000 and wait 3 weeks haah
