Absolutely gorgeous. But I’m perplexed by the fret markers. Why a double dot at 5 and 9, nothing on twelve, and a major inlay at 14? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

That really is a stellar looking guitar. I can't even get a fit and finish like that on my 65th guitar. If it sounds half as good as it looks then well, you got one helluva guitar there. |

Just plain stunning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Hey Casey, How did you spray the sunburst? Airbrush? It's a beautiful effect. |

That is a beauty Casey! How did you do the end wedge? Also, what gives the neck the dark look, is it a dark pore fill, stain, or perhaps a walnut neck? |

Ken Grunst wrote: Hey Casey, How did you spray the sunburst? Airbrush? It's a beautiful effect. I use an HVLP gun and four colors: amber, black with some brown, brown with some red, and an orange that is made with a few drops of brown, red and amber. I apply them in that order. There is a YouTube video of how it's done at Collings and that's what I shoot for. Thanks for the compliments! |
