Post subject:  Shortening Barrel Nuts

I was fitting neck attachment hardware today and thought I’d share an idea for shortening barrel nuts that are a little too wide for the tenon as mine always are.

For a long time I filed them down with the nut in a vise. This is faster and more accurate. Just remember to cover any dust collection ports as it makes a few sparks. The nut is really hot too!!
