I've found that if it happens early enough steaming is a better option. But this drives me crazy too. I've resorted to just cutting my nails back now. I like to have nails for playing the classical guitar but pretty much every time I end up scratching the top. This current guitar I am working on, I was wearing gloves as I always do, but the glove ripped and fingernail came right through. Lesson learned for me, cut nails. |
