Beautiful. The heel of the neck is lovely, and the treatment around the cutaway is very nicely done. Did you spray or brush the EM6000? Walnut, right? Ed |

Thanks Ed. I sprayed the finish with my Fuji HVLP system. Zpoxy pore fill. The heel is some more of that walnut burl I used on the headplate, back strap, and rosette. BTW - The headplate was book matched. Please excuse the piece of paper towel stuck to the string end... |

That cutaway shape is quite stylish and I like the energy in the curve. The Mayan walnut looks very similar to claro...how did you like working with it? |

Thanks guys. Woodie, I had no trouble bending the mayan walnut. Although, I haven't tried bending a venetian cutaway, the SJ waist is pretty tight. This is the second time I've used MW. I'd definitely recommend using it. |
