Let me first say that I have bought wood from almost all of the OLF sponsors that sell wood, and I have never been let down by any of them. Good quality, good prices, great to deal with. We all should try to do business with our sponsors. Having said that, I do try to keep my eyes open for opportunities to get a better than average deal. I was recently, and pleasantly, surprised by some deals I got on Indian Rosewood from Exotic Wood Zone. The wood is very good quality, the pricing was great, and it shipped fast and safely. It is a bit of a gamble to deal with somebody new, but I had a good experience with this company, and would buy from it again if I saw it offering a great deal. Just FYI. |

They are located near St. Louis, so no issues in terms of shipping inside the USA. If you want to make sure the documentation is in order so that selling a finished guitar across borders is done properly, the sense I get from their website is that they are well attuned to CITES issues. They seem to be a legitimate importer and wholesaler of Indian Rosewood that is now dabbling in direct sales. I would contact them with any specific questions. |
