Hi Folks, My belt gave out on my Performax 10-20. I had gotten a replacement that fit well, but was very flimsy... said it was 120 git... When I put some backs through the sander, the wood got stuck under the drum.. the belt was spinning but didn't move the wood through. Note: I am not talking about the sandpaper... rather the belt Has anybody replaced the belt successfully with something they are happy with? I see this a woodcraft: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/repl ... 6QQAvD_BwE This one as well: https://www.mmtoolparts.com/store/jet-p ... -60-0310-p And here: https://www.highlandwoodworking.com/dru ... -belt.aspx Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Glenn |

I used one from these guys for my 16-32.... https://2sand.com/feed-belt-for-jet-per ... rum-sander. Works fine but the one from Highland is a great price and appears to be very similar. |

Several years ago I replaced my 16/32 feed belt with one from the internet. It was several months before I actually installed it. It was made from quality material but somehow they made one side slightly shorter than the other. When i tried to contact them it seems they had a 30 day return policy so I bought the next one from woodcraft. It works fine. The missed fitted one still worked but I couldn't tighten the loose side without changing the tracked so severely it ran off the guides. I grumbled some but did manage to use it for a few years (running loose on one side). The moral of my story is get one from a dealer where you can easily return it if needed. |

I had to replace mine a couple of years ago. I bought this one from Woodworkers Supply on Amazon and it has worked fine: https://www.amazon.com/Abrasives-156155 ... dpSrc=srch |
