That's very interesting indeed. I imagine it would go through a standard sound hole too. Though you might want a 'leveler' midway just to hold it in place?

I admit, I don’t know what we are looking at in that picture. The access port in the back of the guitar?

Access port for a guitar that does not have a standard sound hole.

I really like that clamp! All it needs now are slots on the top and bottom for moving the connecting bolt back and forth using double nuts and a locking hinge for ease of getting it into standard sound holes and you would have a sort of "universal" bridge clamp. If it ever cools off enough for me to get out in the main part of my shop I might just have to steal that idea from me. (It's a 105°) heat index here today)
