 Post subject: New StewMac Binding Tape

Tried the yellow stuff for the first time. Tack is not as aggressive as the brown but adequate, peels off more safely without tear out. Has a little stretch. Did not seem to tear as easily when stretching over the edge of the binding at the waist. Held very well.

I like it a lot so far. Lower tack could be an issue if trying to man handle an obstinate curve into position.

Have you tried Frog tape, if so, how does this compare to that?

Isn't 'stretch' a good thing? I always felt like the stretch is what gives it the lasting clamping force and it feels like you can snap it in place.

Yes stretch for me is a very good thing and no I have not used Frog tape for binding.
