Post subject:	Yamaha neck reset?
While more of a repair topic i put it in here as more folks would likely see it. Please move this if appropriate Lance. A question that comes up a lot is whether you can re-set the neck on XXXX brand guitar? And a lot of times that brand happens to be Yamaha. So I wrote up a small article on the topic and explain how to know if a neck joint will come apart well or not on virtually any guitar. I also outline my neck removal procedure. Thanks Brian. I tried to do a reset on my '69 F-150 (my very first guitar, purchased new when I was in college) and couldn't get the neck off so I did the bolt on conversion. I don't remember if its finished inside, I need to go back and look.
