System 3 is now shipping a revised mini-pump kit and revised 1-1/2 quart containers (I don't have any insight on the larger containers). If ordering that epoxy kit from a retailer, you may get either the old wide-neck (32mm?) neck size containers for both resin and hardener, or the new 28mm sized neck for (resin) or 24mm (hardener). If simply restocking, it is easy to transfer the fresh material to the old bottles (after cleaning them out) and use your old pump kit, or purchase the new kit from your retailer (if available) or order directly from System 3 (as we did). The new kit comes with the pumps already set for the 2:1 volumetric mix ratio, and the different thread sizes on the necks avoids getting the wrong pump installed on resin or hardener. The only reason I mention this is that those that may have recently ordered SilverTip quart kits will most likely have to go directly to System 3 to find the new pump kits. |
