Post subject:  New Luthier Tips du Jour video - Bone shims

Thanks Robbie, as usual. The only problem I see for using the shim for the nut is that you can see it... I was wondering if you could make position markers using a plug cutter.

It might be hard to keep the bone from cracking when using a plug cutter. I would probably just use pearl or abalone for that.
