An imaginary OLF tub-o-lard aka Ov*tion Lube for the first one to guess incorporating the correct guess with a creative and hopefully funny guess if this guitar needs a neck reset and why or why not? Employees of the OLF, Ann Arbor Guitars, Exxon Mobile (not really...) are exempt from participation. Offer imaginary and no actual OLF Lard of Ov*tion Lube will be transferred. Offer void where prohibited and only 1,000 guesses per individual. TIA (Thanks in advance not this is Africa) |

That's what happens when you remove the #13 1/2 fret. Just put the fret back in place, no reset required. Alex |

I've built a few similar, except the neck doesn't fold, it removes entirely and slips up the butt orifice. |

Should be able to adjust that with the truss rod. Just a little reverse hump. Make sure the guy sits on it from the opposite side while you do the adjustment. |

sdsollod wrote: Is that one of those folding travel guitars? We have a weiner! Congratulations! It's a Travel-air folding guitar that is in for it's second set-up.... in a couple of years. You can Google Travel-air and see a video of how the "Jesus Bolt" works and how you tuck the stings in the sound hole. It has a back pack case so it's easy to travel with when you get kicked out of your house for buying it.... Good job Steve your imaginary OLF tub-o-lard aka Ov*tion Lube is on the way |

When I get that imaginary OLF tub-o-lard aka Ov*tion Lube I'm going to sell it on Ebay as a special lutherie accessory. Just trying to decide where to start the bidding... |

I was going to say don't bother with a neck reset, someone used it as a post hole digger, but I see it's one of those folding guitars. Yuck! I really hope the guy loves that thing and has a healthy sense of humor. At least it's not an Ovation. You are a good man Hesh! Actually, as much as I want to make fun of the guitar, it is a pretty cool concept. And again, at least it's not an Ovation. |

"This was the second best guess simply because someone else beat you too. Good going Ed!" Or possibly third - as I mentioned I build my travel guitars so the neck removes entirely and slips inside the body. Why waste all that interior air space and you can use a regular gigbag or a small suitcase to transport it. |
