I recently finished this Coco/Sitka OM. Cardinal lacquer over epoxy pore fill, satin tung oil modified urethane neck. 1 11/16" nut, Waverlies and K&K Pure Mini pickup. Sorry about the sun washed pics, I don't really have a good setup for shooting guitars.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looks great. Is that a drop in thru-saddle or glued?

Thru-saddle. It's tight enough that I didn't glue it. Are they typically glued to keep them from sliding or to strengthen the front edge of the bridge?

Very nice Casey. Question about your finish - did the coco have any tendency to bleed when you applied the pore fill or with the lacquer? I'm building with coco right now and every wipe of alcohol or acetone carries a great amount of redish brown oil onto the rag - I'm afraid that any solvent will carry oil into my light fiber purfling strips and even to the top. I'm also planning to use Zpoxy with either nitro or KTM-9 over that and I'm considering doing the pore fill before I route the channels for the binding and install it.

Yes, it bled a little. I had to scrape the bindings, but the purflings and back strip were fine.
