Not 100% related, but Alaska Specialty Woods posted this on FB and my first thought was Andy...

Question! And help wanted! Is there someone here that is knowledgeable and well versed with the use and operation of CNC . We have a project in mind and seek consultation about do-ability and equipment needed if do-able.

I occasionally teach CNC to woodworkers at the local community college. But I have to admit, try as I might I have never gotten the results Andy does carving necks. I would give anything to see his workflow on that. Still, happy to give a helping hand to a fellow luthier if I can.

EDIT: Sorry, that is not you asking. You are repeating a request from Alaska Specialty Woods. Never mind...

Yeesh! Please don't title a post with a person's name and nothing else... scared me. Don't even ask me what I was thinking. LOL!

Andy, I need to order up some headstock plate engraving.

Yea, it's like when you turn on the radio in the car and then hear three songs in a row from a band or singer that's not in the station's regular rotation.
