Here's my latest, just finished up yesterday. It's 13" across the lower bout and the scale is 24.75". I did tapered x-braces for the first time on this one and graduated the top thinner toward the edges. I'm happy with how it sounds and it's plenty loud. I really like the figuring on this ziricote set. Thanks for all the positive comments everyone. I just got back from the first day of the Northwest Handmade Musical Instrument Exhibit and of the three guitars I brought, this was the one that people homed in on the most. Players who tried it out were surprised by how full it sounds. I was surprised by the number of people who expressed a very specific interest in parlor size guitars. |
