I was browsing the flea market at Leopoldplatz in Berlin, and I found a two cherries 6mm gouge and 20mm chisel, for 5 and 6 euros respectively! |

Nice one Tai Fu! I love flea markets. Some of my best chisels (a full set of vintage EA Bergs), and my Bailey #6 are from the summer swap'n'shop where I live. I'd love to visit some of the flea markets in Europe tho. -J. |

I am sure there are others, but I do not recognize the brand on many of them, in fact a lot of them do not have any sort of markings at all. I found some lux previously which I have no idea how good or bad they are (it's the house brand sold by OBI). Do they use metal body planes in Germany at all? I see a lot of wooden planes sold here... there has to be metal bodied planes here! |
