Try Bruce Crepes at Notable Woods. I just bought two very nice sets from him, air dried since 2006. He nested the two sets to minimize waste. They have been stickered in my shop for about 3 months now - getting ready to build with them. (don't know if Bruce is a sponsor or if referencing him is a problem. If so you might just try each of the sponsors). Also, just built a Weissenborn bending form for my Fox bender - we'll see how that works maybe this weekend. edit to add, if there is any trouble shipping koa to you there is also a vendor in Australia who apparently can ship Blackwood (very similar to koa). |

These are sponsors on the forum here. You can't miss them. Check out Volcano Guitar Works. |

If you want a spruce top, Shane at High Mtn tonewoods has Lutz spruce tops for Weiss. I like spruce for the top, personally. After I use up my 2 sets of blackwood and yellow siris, I'm going to try the Shane Lutz, with whatever I can find for the rest of da box. |

Thanks guys! I know VGW, I usually bought from him, but now seems to have nothing available ... I personally prefer to use hawaiian koa for the TA, on the other hand if you want to try Italian spruce, I've a little stash for both acoustic and weiss. |
