Post subject:  Help with Restoration of 1924 Gibson O Type

Have been asked to restore a 1924 Gibson Archtop (O Type). Pic attached of identical instrument. Problem is that the bridge and saddle are gone. All you can see is the faint outline of where the bridge used to be. Any thoughts as to where I can get either designs or closeup pics of the bridge assembly so I can make one? I can get the placement from the marks and the height to the strings by taking off from the fretboard --which is straight and true.

Google is your friend (so they say). I searched gibson archtop style O and found some nice photos on the Elderly site...

Here's a closeup of the bridge from an instrument Elderly has available that is of the same vintage and may be the same model.
